On the occasion of International Women's Day celebrated on 8 March 2026, the Alumni Association, School of Management Sciences (SMS), Lucknow organized an Online Interactive Session to celebrate the achievements of women and to promote the spirit of empowerment, leadership, and professional growth among students and alumni.

The session was conducted with the objective of inspiring young learners by connecting them with accomplished alumni who could share their experiences and professional journeys. The initiative also aimed to strengthen alumni engagement while highlighting the importance of women’s participation and leadership across professional domains.

The event featured two distinguished alumni speakers: Ms. Sakshi Tomar(MBA-2022 Batch)  and Manasi Srivastava(Btech-CSE : 2023 Batch). During the session, both speakers shared insights into their academic journey at SMS Lucknow and elaborated on their transition from campus life to professional careers. They discussed the challenges they encountered, the opportunities that helped shape their careers, and the importance of continuous learning and adaptability in today’s competitive environment.

Ms. Sakshi Tomar spoke about the role of determination, confidence, and skill development in achieving career goals. She encouraged students to actively participate in internships, networking opportunities, and skill-building activities that enhance professional growth. Ms. Manasi Srivastava shared her experiences from the technology sector and highlighted how dedication, innovation, and perseverance play a vital role in building a successful career in the field of computer science and engineering.
