The Oath Ceremony of the newly elected Office Bearers of the SMS Lucknow Alumni Association was organized with great enthusiasm and dignity on 25th July 2027. The ceremony marked the formal commencement of the new leadership team for the 2026–2029 tenure, reaffirming the Association's commitment to strengthening alumni engagement and contributing to the growth and legacy of SMS Lucknow.

The highlight of the ceremony was the oath-taking by the newly appointed President, Mr. Utkarsh Mishra (Batch 2008-2012, B.Tech – Computer Science & Engineering). Administering his pledge with dedication and a strong sense of responsibility, Mr. Mishra officially assumed the office of President for the 2026–2029 term. In his address, he expressed gratitude to the members of the Association for their trust and confidence, and reaffirmed his commitment to fostering a vibrant and collaborative alumni network. He emphasized the importance of strengthening connections among alumni, promoting professional networking, mentoring current students, and supporting institutional development through meaningful initiatives.

Following the President's oath, the remaining newly elected office bearers also took the oath of office in his presence. Each office bearer pledged to uphold the values, objectives, and constitution of the SMS Lucknow Alumni Association while working collectively for the welfare of its members and the continued progress of the institution.

The ceremony was attended by distinguished alumni, faculty members, invited guests, and well-wishers, creating an atmosphere of pride, unity, and celebration. The event symbolized the beginning of a new chapter for the Association, with renewed enthusiasm to organize alumni engagement activities, professional development programs, social initiatives, and collaborative events that strengthen the bond between alumni and their alma mater. The ceremony concluded with a vote of thanks.
