Friendly Cricket Match Between SMS Faculty and Alumni Association

A friendly cricket match between the faculty members of the School of Management Sciences (SMS), Lucknow, and the SMS Alumni Association was successfully organized on 26th January 2026 at the SMS campus as part of the Republic Day celebrations. The event was conducted in a spirit of sportsmanship, camaraderie, and mutual respect, bringing together faculty members and alumni to celebrate unity, teamwork, and the enduring bond with their alma mater.

The day was marked by a vibrant atmosphere filled with enthusiasm, reunion, and high energy, as both teams displayed commendable performance and collective participation. The match provided a meaningful platform for alumni to reconnect with the institution while fostering informal yet impactful interaction with faculty members, thereby strengthening professional and personal relationships.

The Faculty Team was led by Mr. Pankaj Yadav (Captain) and Mr. Vikram Singh (Vice Captain), while the Alumni Team was captained by Mr. Atul Tiwari with Mr. Sajal Bhalla serving as the Vice Captain. The presence and active involvement of all players contributed significantly to the success of the event.

Match Result: The Faculty Team emerged victorious by 44 runs, showcasing outstanding performance, teamwork, and exemplary sportsmanship throughout the match.
